1. HOW ARE GROUPS MADE UP?

Brillando DC is a program that divides children into mixed groups (3 to 8 years old) of 13 students.
2. HOW MANY ADULTS ARE ASSIGNED PER GROUP?

Each group of 13 students is designated to 2 guides. (6/7 to 1 ratio). There are always two adults in charge of children.

3. HOW ARE PAYMENTS MADE?

Payments are made through the 1Core.
4. DO CHILDREN GO ON FIELD TRIPS?

Children go on field trips as a group. Children explore the city libraries, pools, special events (for additional cost). Each week children will participate in at least 2 field trips, a day in nature and a day in the atelier.
5. HOW ARE CHILDREN TRANSPORTED TO FIELD TRIPS?

Brillando DC has a 15 passenger vehicle to take children to field trips around the city in groups of 13. The vehicle has a car seat for every child installed with all the safety standards for the age group.
6. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CHILDREN NEED TO BRING?

Change of clothes in a backpack with an extra bag for storage (label all items)

A water bottle that can get lost with their name on it. Families often buy in the same stores.

Food for breakfast (if they are enrolled in before care)

Lunch (nutritional with vegetables, fruits, grains, and protein)

Afternoon snack.

A nap sack if they sleep. (We follow the child and put them to rest for 30 minutes. If they do not sleep, they go back to the Atelier).

Hats, shades, and any protective gear for walking to Rock Creek Park. (label all items)
7. IS FOOD PROVIDED?

Brillando DC will provide a morning snack to be prepared by children. You are still responsible for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks.
8. DO CHILDREN NAP?

We follow the child and put them to rest for 30 minutes. If they do not sleep, they go back to the Atelier). A nap sack is required if your child naps.
